Networking...#3 Homeshops

I'd like to go to the workshop, but ...not on that day.
It's too far..no way to get there.
I'd like to do something different with my friends.

Hello , I'm Pat Bronson

What do you do?
I'm a transition consultant/active wisdom explorer who convenes focused conversations of change and possibility as lives evolve. Have workshop...will travel.

Tell me more...
Sometimes the reasons stated above stand in the way, so.....
I created Homeshops...workshops that take place in the comfort of your home. We co-create potential: you host - I facilitate...a unique opportunity to share with friends and family. We focus on living through life transitions with intentional conversations and creation of tools to support emerging passions.

How does it work?

We will connect...we will discuss: from my brochure- which workshop(s) you would prefer. As well, you will find the participants  and advise me of the number and your chosen location. We will settle on a date(s). I will arrive with all of the necessary materials and we will celebrate life...a reflection and renewal of you and your friends. Building a community of active wisdom explorers.

I asked: what would you like to co-create?

Hello, I'm Pat Bronson

What do you do?
I am a transition consultant who offers opportunities for people to explore change in their lives. Transition- Envision- Decision...a Sugarplum Vision board workshop to allows people to plan for a future of their own design.

Tell me more.
As lives evolve, changes appear. Questions arise.
  • What do I want to care about?
  • What would I like to attract into my life going forward?
  • Beyond my circumstances, who am I?
Looking at images and words, participants awaken to possibilities; beyond judgement and limiting stories, options and deferred dreams appear and images are chosen.  A vision of a desired life comes alive through..passion and purpose are renewed.

How does it work?
Creating a vision board allows participants the opportunity to focus on their future.I assemble magazines, and other materials; participants are invited to bring ephemera from their lives to add. Sizes and shapes of  cardboard are provided.
Time is given to scan magazines, etc. for images and words that will support the vision that is forming even as the looking is going on. This process seems to speak to our inner desires and hopes: renewed identity and a path forward.
The selected images are placed and glued to a piece of cardboard...in a way that frames our vision of our futures. We are able to live in alignment with our vision and the vision board acts as a focus going forward. Many participants tell me they place their boards in a prominent place in their homes...looking at it daily keeps the vision alive. Its presence also helps them to move forward with action steps. I have been contacted about 'success'.
Visualization to creation to action!

I asked: when would you like to schedule a workshop?

Hello, I'm Pat Bronson

What do you do?
I help people live courageously through the transitions in their lives.  They will compose lives of active wisdom as life unfolds.

Tell me more.
Well, I created workshops and mentor programs to support people as they go through changes in their lives. In small groups, or on an individual basis, we talk about living through difficult times. The power of conversation and community forums allow participants to explore questions of identity and renewal beyond current circumstances. We create tools which  serve to visualize and reframe opportunities.

How does it work?
The reality is that change is difficult...when I retired, lots had been said regarding financial arrangements but there were few opportunities to explore such questions as:
Who am I without familiar roles and responsibilities?
How will I spend my time? What matters to me?
It took me some time and lots of reading and reflection to understand who I was and to value my identity. I needed to let go of some patterns; others had disappeared. This process rekindled an idea of creation and performance. What about writing?
It is too difficult to go further alone...why not convene conversations about transition: contexts, reflections, options.
New Chapter; New Life Story and other workshops were born of my desire for community or tribe and  my ability to create context for others to make their own decisions in the light of their truth.

I asked: What is your vision? What might we co-create?

How would you answer?

Freedom to create anew...my song

In a previous post I talked about the nature of transitions and the unease that can accompany them. Again, I believe that it is not necessary to go further alone. What opportunities are embedded in challenge: deferred dreams, connections with others who are on their own yellow brick road, increased personal awareness of passion and purpose within an evolving lifestyle.
As a transitions consultant, I  convene conversations to explore, create, develop within your new reality: to carry forward the fire  and wisdom acquired before the change towards a life of active wisdom.
The posters available on  the blogposts below this one describe possibilities.Let me support you as you move through changes in your life; we'll share stories. I will:

  • create a context for you to make your own decisions
  • explore identity: who am I now? What matters to me?
  • allow you to reflect your truth without judgement
Let's talk!

What now?

I believe transitions in our lives offer both challenge and opportunity...The Chinese had it right with the character that illustrates these two ideas. Equally, we have practised living through transition. Over our lifetime: childhood, adolescence, adulthood, there are beginning and endings throughout. Sometimes space is created to mourn these changes; other times we shrug our shoulders and move on.
During transitions we can feel challenged by the changes in the structure of our lives and wonder: who am I in the midst of change? where do I go from here? We can feel powerless.
However, we also are given the opportunity to explore new ways of being in the world, space to create new experiences and ways of looking at the change that created this 'crack' in the mirror. What is the gift of this change?
As a transition coach, I believe in the power of conversation to honor our shared wisdom as we explore our lives  ...we do not need to go forward alone. New Chapter; New Life Story offers meaningful conversation in small groups; Mentor Matters : an opportunity for individual exploration. Ah, the neutral zone.

Every beginning is a consequence-
every beginning ends something.
