TRANSITIONS R US:This conversation series invites clients to live into the potential of aging. As facilitator, I create context for participants to harvest their lives, value their experiences and acknowledge the wisdom they have gained. In a small group setting, stories are shared and ideas of legacy are explored. At a recent series held at an independent retirement residence, participants spoke of the warmth of awareness the series provided.

I wrote this entry after a conversation series I facilitated at an independent retirement residence. Sharing stories of living  and connecting with our inner wisdom is vital to our wellbeing as we age. Identity and contribution issues matter as we sit closer to the fire of our lives. What legacy? What are we grateful for? What about forgiveness?

The gift of longevity provides ample opportunity to not only grow old, but to grow whole.
